Can I only book an apartment as a student?

In our Long Stay apartments, we welcome you as 

• enrolled (master) student
• PhD candidate

at an institution referred to in Article 1.1.1, subsection b, of the Education and Vocational Training Act or a student enrolled at a university or college of higher education referred to in Article 1.2, subsections a and b, of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Act.

We offer long stay campus contract with a minimum period of 12 months. The campus contract states that you must be enrolled as a student at a Dutch university in order to lease the apartment.

The proof of enrollment must confirm your enrollment as a student in accordance with the start date of the tenancy and must be signed and stamped by the university.

Once you have completed your studies, you must terminate the contract and move out within 3 months, so that the apartment is available for other students. We verify annually that you are still enrolled at an educational institution.

What do you mean by proof of enrollment?

• A declaration of enrollment from a Dutch educational institution
• Proof of registration at a Dutch educational institution
• Exchange student/ internship/hospitality certificate?

I have not received my proof of enrollment yet, what should I do?

Please contact your educational institution and ask for a (temporary) declaration of enrollment.

Our Short Stay contracts, have a set period of either 4, 5 or, but no longer than, 6 months in specific units. You do not need to be enrolled for them.

Depending on your occupation either a proof of enrollment or a proof of employment (Working contract, salary slip, employere’s confirmation) is needed.
