If you need to move out before your fixed-term contract naturally expires, THE FIZZ allows you to exit the agreement early by taking over the responsibility of finding a suitable replacement tenant to assume your lease.
To ensure a successful transfer, please follow these steps and guidelines:
Timeline: You must initiate this entire process at least four weeks prior to the end of the month you wish to move out. (For example, if you plan to leave by July 31st, all completed documents must be submitted to us by late June at the very latest).
Tenant Eligibility Criteria: To maintain our community standards, the replacement tenant must meet our standard rental requirements. They must provide official proof that they are a student, an apprentice, or a young professional (depending on the specific local regulations of the building).
Submitting the Request: Once you have found an interested candidate, you need to completely fill out our official New Tenant Form. Submit this form along with all necessary supporting documents of the new applicant (such as university enrollment letters, proof of income, or parent guarantees) directly via our online contact form.
Review and Approval: Our Letting Team will carefully review the application. If the candidate is fully qualified and approved, a new lease agreement will be issued for them. As soon as the new contract is secured, you will receive your official termination confirmation, legally releasing you from your lease.
Please Note: You remain fully responsible for the monthly rent payments and all tenant obligations until the replacement process is legally finalized and the new contract is signed.
