What are Shared Apartments?

A Shared Apartment in Hammerbrook and Ludwigshafen-Mannheim is the perfect option if you would like to enjoy your own private bedroom while sharing common spaces with other residents.

In a Shared Apartment, you have:

• Your own private, lockable bedroom
• Shared kitchen facilities
• Shared bathroom(s), depending on the apartment layout
• Access to all services and community areas at THE FIZZ

Living in a Shared Apartment is a great way to meet new people, build friendships, and enjoy a more social living experience while still having your own private space.

Can I choose the gender of my flatmates?

Please note that Shared Apartments in Germany are mixed-gender apartments. Rooms are allocated based on availability, and we are unfortunately unable to accommodate requests for female-only or male-only shared apartments.

This means that your flatmates may be of any gender.

What if I do not want to share with residents of the opposite gender?

If you prefer not to share an apartment with residents of the opposite gender, we recommend booking a Single Apartment instead. A Single Apartment offers a fully private living space and allows you to enjoy complete independence.

Can I choose my flatmates?

Generally, rooms are allocated based on availability. If you would like to live with a friend and both rooms are available in the same apartment, please contact our team before booking. While we cannot guarantee requests, we will do our best to accommodate them whenever possible.
