What does the deposit cover?

The deposit (3x the net cold rent and paid before move-in) serves as security for the landlord. It may be used to cover any unpaid rent, damages to the apartment, or missing items. After you move out, the deposit is refunded in full if there are no outstanding payments or defects in the apartment. Your deposit will be refunded within up to 4-6 weeks.
