What do I have to do before I move out?

*Short stay tenancy agreements are for a fixed term and cannot be terminated before the agreed end date.

Upon confirmation of your termination, please make an appointment for a pre-check with your residential management to make sure that your apartment is in order. This should be approximately 2 weeks before you move out.

Before you move out, you must restore the apartment to the way you found it. This means that you will remove your personal belongings from the apartment, clean it, paint it if necessary, etc.

For your final move-out, a move-out appointment is mandatory.

Required Steps

• Contract Termination (long-stay tenancy agreements & parking only): Submit your termination notice within the required notice period via the contact form. 
• Preliminary Inspection: Schedule a preliminary check-out appointment with your house management team to identify any issues that should be addressed before your departure. 
• Final Move-Out: A final move-out appointment is mandatory. During this appointment, the apartment will be inspected, and all keys/access media must be returned. 
• Please note: The preliminary inspection and final move-out appointment apply to both long-term and short-term stays.

Is there the possibility to move out of the outside office hours, on weekends or holidays?

Unfortunately, this is not possible, as there is no employee in the building outside office hours. However, after consultation with us, someone can carry out the final acceptance on your behalf with a power of attorney. Outside the main move-out period, you can contact your residential management by phone or email to arrange a move-out date.
