| You do not need an active internet connection to open doors using the iLOQ digital key. The system uses NFC (Near Field Communication), which means that your digital key is securely stored on your smartphone and doors can be unlocked offline without Wi Fi or mobile data. However, an internet connection is required for certain actions, such as activating your key for the first time, receiving or updating access permissions, and synchronising your digital key. To ensure smooth access, we recommend downloading and activating your key in advance before entering areas without internet access. |
