You are entitled to apply for a residence permit if you are a citizen of the Czech Republic, you are staying in the Czech Republic on a visa for more than 90 days, or you intend to stay in the territory temporarily for more than 1 year.
Conditions & personal details
To issue the proof of accommodation documents, you need to send us the following information via our contact form:
- Your date of birth and nationality
- Your passport number
- The booking ID of the contract for which you need the document
- If you are already resident: payment confirmation for the 350CZK fee paid by card at the reception
- If you are non-resident but with a valid contract: proof of deposit payment (amount according to your contract) and the 350CZK you will pay at the reception by card during the move-in or when you pick up the document (we don’t accept bank transfer for this fee).
Timeline
Once we receive the requested information, we will start preparing the document. Usually, it takes up to 10 days until it is ready on paper. Once the document is ready to be picked up, you will be notified. We recommend requesting this document at least 2-3 weeks prior to your visa appointment.
Delivery
You can pick it up in person at the reception during opening hours.
If the document has to be sent somewhere because you are applying for a visa abroad, you need to organize the delivery by yourself (DHL/GO!) and also cover the charges.
We can send the document via post only within the Czech Republic for an additional 100CZK. In this case we need the name and the address where to send it. As the document will be sent via a third party, we cannot guarantee when or if it arrives.
⚠️To make sure you have your proof of accommodation for your visa appointment ready, we recommend ordering a courier collection as soon as possible once you are notified that the document can be picked up, as delivery takes some time.
⚠️The address for an international collection must always be confirmed by THE FIZZ team before the real order of a delivery. After order delivery, all details related to a collection must be sent to reception.prague@the-fizz.com; otherwise, THE FIZZ cannot guarantee a smooth process.
Digital version
We can also issue this document only digitally and send it directly to the Ministry of Interior via Datoveschranky. This way they accept it as well; should they for some reason still need it on paper, they will allow you more time to provide them with a legalized original of the document. This option is available only when you are applying for a visa in the Czech Republic and not abroad. Embassies abroad require having a legalized hard copy of the document.
