What is rent allowance and can I apply for them? (Huurtoeslag)

The rental allowance, Huurtoeslag, is a government contribution that will help you with rent.

The specific service charges for rental subsidy purposes are the following:

·             Cleaning of common areas: €11.83

·             Energy costs of common areas: €10.00

·             Costs for a caretaker: €0 > for now we do not intend to use a caretaker.

·             Certain other costs for common and recreational areas: €0 > the FIZZ community fee is not for repairs / CAPEX / cleaning/energy costs for the common area, it is for the use of the common areas.

The total service charges that count towards the rekenhuur are €21.83.
