Can I only book an apartment as a student?

For long stays, you can book as enrolled:

• bachelor/master student

• PhD candidate (status: Promovendus 1)
   

  at an institution referred to in Article 1.1.1, subsection b, of the Education and Vocational Training Act or a student enrolled at a university or college of higher education referred to in Article 1.2, subsections a and b, of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Act.

  We offer a campus contract with a minimum period of 12 months. The campus contract states that you must be enrolled as a Dutch student in order to lease the apartment.  

The proof of enrollment must confirm your enrollment as a student in accordance with the start date of the tenancy and must be signed and stamped by the university.

Upon completion of or graduation from your studies, you are required to terminate your tenancy agreement and vacate the apartment within three months so that it can be made available to other students. We verify annually that you are still enrolled at an educational institution.
