Can I cancel my tenancy agreement after signing?

Cancellation & Termination

Once your booking has been confirmed and the tenancy agreement has been signed by both parties, it can no longer be cancelled. This applies to both long-term and short-term stays.
 

Long Stays
 

Minimum Rental Period: Your tenancy cannot be terminated during the initial 12-month minimum rental period.
Notice Period: After the minimum rental period, you may terminate your tenancy by giving one month's notice, effective at the end of a calendar month.
 

How to Terminate long stay: Complete and sign the termination form and submit it via our contact form (preferred) or send it by post to:

Leiden long stays only: Once your tenancy termination has been confirmed, you are also required to terminate your energy supply contract with Linthorst Energy.

Short Stays

Short-stay contracts are concluded for a fixed term and cannot be terminated prior to the agreed end date.
