Long-stay tenancy agreements are campus contracts with an indefinite rental period and a minimum stay of 12 months. A valid proof of enrollment is required during the booking process and must be renewed annually. After the initial 12-month minimum stay, you can terminate your tenancy by giving notice in accordance with your tenancy agreement.
Short-stay contracts are concluded for a fixed booking period, for a maximum of 6 months, and cannot be terminated early, renewed, extended, or converted into a long-stay contract. A short stay for 6 months can only be booked once. The rental period is fixed and always starts on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month. Short stay contracts cannot be converted into long-stay agreements. Once your short-stay contract is confirmed, it's also not possible to book another short- or long-term stay with us at THE FIZZ Leiden again.
Once your short-stay booking is confirmed, the contract becomes binding and cannot be cancelled or terminated. All payment obligations must be fulfilled in accordance with the contract terms.
