What is included in my monthly costs?

THE FIZZ Utrecht:
Your monthly costs include the following:
•    Base rent
•    Advance payment for service costs – utilities
•    Advance payment for service costs – general
•    Advance payment for Media fee (Internet)
•    Furniture
•    Community fee                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

The service cost utility concerns an advance payment and will be settled annually based on the actual usage, based on individual metering. Also, the service costs general and the media fee is an advance payment and will be settled annually based on actual incurred costs. Fee furniture and community fees are not subjected to annual settlement.

THE FIZZ Leiden - long stays
In a long-stay tenancy agreement your monthly costs include the following: 
•    Base rent 
•    Advance payment for service costs – utilities 
•    Advance payment for service costs – general 
 

The service costs utility concerns an advance payment and will be settled annually based on the actual usage, based on individual metering. Also, the service costs general and media fee is an advance payment and will be settled annually based on actual incurred costs. Fee furniture and community fees are not subjected to annual settlement.
The costs for heating, cooling, and hot water are paid directly to Linthorst Energy company and not to THE FIZZ Leiden, based on the separate agreement concluded with the Linthorst Energy company. THE FIZZ Leiden - short stays
All ancillary costs are paid directly to THE FIZZ Leiden, and they are fixed costs, not subjected to annual settlement.             
For a Short Stay contract: the monthly costs include the following:  
•    Base rent, including 21% VAT
•    Fee Services (including Internet, utilities and furniture), including 21% VAT
