What is included in my monthly costs?

In a long-stay tenancy agreement, your monthly costs include the following:

• Base rent
• Advance payment for service costs – utilities
• Advance payment for service costs – general services
• Advance payment for furnishings and furniture

The utility service costs are charged as an advance payment and will be settled annually based on actual consumption, as measured by individual meters. The general service costs will also be settled annually based on the actual costs incurred. The furniture fee is not subject to annual settlement.

THE FIZZ Leiden – Long Stay
The costs for heating, cooling, and hot water are paid directly to Linthorst Energy and not to THE FIZZ Leiden, based on a separate agreement concluded with Linthorst Energy. THE FIZZ Leiden – Short Stay
All ancillary costs are paid directly to THE FIZZ Leiden and are fixed costs, not subject to annual settlement.

For a Short Stay contract, the monthly costs include:

• Base rent, including 21% VAT
• Service fee (including internet, utilities, and furniture), including 21% VAT
